Wednesday, 21st March 2018 at Etc. Venues County Hall, Riverside Building, Belvedere Road, London, SE1 7PB

6.30pm to 8.30pm.

Join Dr Sam Collins and fellow Aspire trailblazing women from previous M.A.D. events and our Aspire Foundation mentoring programme to network and make progress on your M.A.D. projects and be part of the Aspire community to make a difference to 1 billion women and girls around the world.

  • Gain new ideas, contacts and thinking to move forward on your M.A.D. project.
  • Share updates on your progress and hold yourself accountable for ongoing action and results.
  • Discuss the challenges and obstacles and ways to overcome them.
  • Receive support, mentoring and encouragement from a like-minded network of women making a difference to themselves and others.
  • Brainstorm ideas on how to move forward on your goals.
  • Be inspired and uplifted by other M.A.D projects.
  • Network, commit to action and ongoing sustainability.

You do need to have a M.A.D. project you are working on from a previous Aspire M.A.D. Leadership Conference or from your mentoring programme. As a reminder, M.A.D. Projects can have a personal focus (for example, 'project confidence' or 'project being me'), a home/family focus (for example, being a role model to your kids or transforming your home), work (for example, a career move, a change programme, an organisational diversity initiative) or a local community or wider world project (for example, helping to end poverty or solve homelessness in your local area).

Building Blocks for the Girls

We have to believe inside that we deserve to be where we are, and to achieve what we have achieved. But we also have to understand that we cannot hold a belief that society owes us anything and instead make our own destinies, and likewise complain that nothing will ever change without understanding that we can control our own reality.
